Sponsored by the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, University of South Alabama Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center, Sickle Cell Disease Association of America and Franklin Primary Healthcare Center, Inc. The annual blood drive was held on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Franklin Primary Healthcare Center, Inc. at 1303 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in Mobile, Alabama. Invitation was sent for Pacesetters Motorcycle Club to participate in this blood drive. As was done in 2008, there will be a competition amongst the motor vehicle based organizations as to who has the most donors.
